Growing up in the late 60s and early 70s, my favorite music was the classic rock that was getting a lot of airplay on local radio. I remember seeing the name Savoy Brown, but I didn’t know any of their songs, so I never bought any of their albums. Fast forward a few decades and I was excited to see that Savoy Brown was playing at Sellersville – I’d finally get to check out this band with the familiar name that I knew nothing about. I was blown away by Kim Simmonds and couldn’t believe I missed out on such a great band all these years. I ended up buying a lot of their old records and I never miss a Savoy Brown show at Sellersville. So Tell Mama to hop on that Hellbound Train and come hear blues rock at its best!
