(Cabaret Reserved for Members until 3/7/11)    Delighting audiences for 30 years with their trademark satirical folk, country & bluegrass, The Austin Lounge Lizards parody subjects such as abuses of the pharmaceutical industry, media conglomerates, health care & politics. An incomplete list of Lizards' hits illustrates: "Jesus Loves Me (But He Can't Stand You)", "Paint Me On Velvet" & "Shallow End of the Gene Pool" and their latest DVD is appropriately titled “30 Years of Lost Luggage.” The Lizard musical style features precise vocal harmonies with instrumental mastery, that are themselves a spoof of the conventions of bluegrass, country & rock… and they’ve been featured on NPR's Morning Edition, Mountain Stage & E-Town.
