Garland Jeffreys

(Cabaret section reserved for Theater Members until 12/26/12)     Brooklyn native Garland Jeffreys’ 2011 “The King of In Between” was featured on numerous year end "best of" lists including Rolling Stone and MSN. The record has also been recognized as “a late career masterpiece” (Minneapolis Star Tribune) and “as good a classic roots rock record as you're going to hear from anybody this year” (NPR "All Songs Considered"). Also known for the classic ‘Wild In The Streets,” Jeffreys with his band will perform "Escape Artist" in its entirety with its hard charging, reggae tinged rock and fan faves “Mystery Kids,” “Christine” and his rollicking cover of garage band classic “96 Tears.”
