J.D. Souther

(Cabaret reserved for Theater Members until 11/3/11)     A principal architect of the Southern California country-rock sound, JD Souther famously played a role in forming the Eagles and co-wrote "Heartache Tonight," "Victim of Love," "New Kid In Town" & "Best of My Love"; he also wrote many of Linda Ronstadt's classics, had a duet hit with James Taylor "Her Town Too" & topped the charts with "You're Only Lonely." In addition to releasing critically acclaimed solo albums, Souther recorded with Poco's Richie Furay & the Byrds' Chris Hillman... and JD’s brand new album “Natural History” features his own versions of best loved classics he wrote for & with others.

2 new Critters CD releases - a re-release (for the first time) of the 2 albums they recorded in the late '60's for Enoch Light's Project 3 Records and from the new band line-up fronted by Don Ciccone, entitled "Timepieces."
