Lucky Peterson
Lucky Peterson
The legendary American bluesman Lucky Peterson has his own original style of contemporary blues fusing soul, R&B, gospel and rock and roll into one! The master of the blues guitar and the Hammond B3 is celebrating his 50th anniversary of performing professionally. He is the son of James Peterson, renowned blues guitarist and his talent was spotted at age five and invitations started to pour in for him to perform live on national TV from such major programs as the Ed Sullivan show and the Tonight Show. With this first album Little Lucky managed to reach out and grab the attention of the whole country with a hit song written for him by his father “1-2-3-4,” a cover version of James Browne’s big hit “Please, Please, Please.” And the rest is history! He's toured and recorded with such notable artists as Etta James, Otis Rush, Kenny Neil and others. This Spring Lucky Peterson was nominated by JAZZ FM in the UK for this year’s “Best Blues Act” award.
Norman Taylor
Norman Taylor is a singer/songwriter/acoustic blues performer from the South Jersey/Philadelphia area. His style is entrenched in the country blues of people like Robert Johnson and Skip James, and contemporary acoustic blues men like Keb Mo, Eric Bibb and Guy Davis.
