Amped Up: A Pennridge and Souderton High School Rock Showcase

We are happy to support this fundraiser for two local high schools! All seating is general admission. For this event, the $7 per ticket processing fee will be added to all phone and online orders for all members and patrons. For ADA seating, please call the Box Office at 215-257-5808.


Ridge Rock is a dynamic student band from Pennridge High School in Perkasie, PA, formed just a few years ago when Pennridge created a rock band class for their high school students. Comprised of talented musicians from the school’s music program, Ridge Rock delivers a high-energy set that fuses contemporary hits with timeless classic rock anthems. Some members of the band are seasoned performers, while others are stepping into a group performance setting for the first time, creating a vibrant mix of experience and fresh energy. Alongside Ridge Rock, the performance also features Sentiment of Sun, who not only plays covers but has written and recorded their own music, adding a fresh, unique element to the show. Together, Ridge Rock and Sentiment of Sun offer a diverse and engaging musical experience that resonates with audiences of all ages!

The Souderton Area High School Rock Band was started as a club in the fall of 2019. Its purpose was to offer musical performance opportunities to musicians who fall outside the typical curricular music classes. The Rock Band became a class in the fall of 2020. Since its inception, the SAHS Rock Band has performed at numerous community events and modern band invitationals throughout the Philadelphia area. The students involved have become well-versed in both classic and modern rock music and history. Their repertoire spans five decades and dozens of bands and artists, including songs from Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, Rush, David Bowie, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The curricular program has continued to grow over the past five years with student-led fundraisers, relationships with modern band programs from other area high schools, and creating a charitable partnership with local recording studio Rotation Productions.
