BBMAK with Trevor Penick of O-Town

BBMAK is a British pop/rock band that was formed in 1997, comprising of Mark Barry, Christian Burns, and Stephen McNally. The band's name is an acronym of the first letter of each member's name. Known for their harmonies and guitar-driven melodies, BBMAK's sound has been likened to The Beatles and Oasis. Their music style blends melodic pop with rock and roll influences, making it appealing to fans of both genres.

The group's debut album, Sooner or Later (2000), propelled them to commercial success with hit singles such as "Back Here" and "Still on Your Side," selling over a million copies worldwide and peaking in the top 40 of the Billboard 200 chart. Their sophomore album, Into Your Head (2002), may not have been as successful as its predecessor but still garnered critical acclaim and included fan-favorite tracks like "Out of My Heart (Into Your Head)" and "Staring Into Space." After a hiatus, the band made a comeback in 2018, releasing their third studio album, Powerstation (2019), which showcased their evolution in sound with electronic and dance influences.

BBMAK's songwriting skills have been praised for producing catchy pop songs with meaningful lyrics, creating a lasting impact on the pop/rock genre, and maintaining a dedicated fanbase worldwide. They were one of the few bands during the pop explosion of the early 2000s to play their own instruments and write their own songs. Billboard recently named “Back Here” the 9th greatest boy band song of all time.

Trevor Penick is a multi-talented singer, rapper, comedian and actor who gained fame as a member of O-Town, the boy band formed on the reality series Making the Band. With four studio albums and hit singles like their 2001 smash All or Nothing, O-Town continues to tour alongside groups like 98 Degrees, Smash Mouth, New Kids on the Block, Ryan Cabrera, LFO, BBMak, and *NSYNC members.

In 2021, Trevor’s Sin City topped the iTunes Dance chart, solidifying his versatility as an artist. He has also built an acting career, appearing in films such as Longshot (2001), Baby Geniuses 2: Superbabies (2004), It Snows All the Time (2016), Chasing Sunshine (2018), and Xmas Gamble (2023).
