Beaucoup Blue, a Philadelphia-based Americana group, is the musical collaboration of father-and-son duo David and Adrian Mowry. Their roots-inspired sound has captivated audiences both nationally and internationally, whether performing as a duo, a quartet, or occasionally a quintet. Seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary styles, they create an innovative and authentic musical experience.
While blues remains a cornerstone of their repertoire, their influences span across Folk, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Country, and Bluegrass. These inspirations shine through in their original songwriting, resulting in a unique and heartfelt approach to music. Featuring an impressive array of instruments—six- and twelve-string guitars, slide guitar, and round-neck resonator guitar—paired with their soulful harmonies, their sound exudes warmth and sincerity, deeply shaped by their family bond.
Experience the magic of two generations uniting for the love of great music.

Stacy Mitchhart’s musical journey began in Cincinnati, Ohio, where jazz guitar legends like Wes Montgomery and Johnny Smith filled his home with inspiration. Naturally drawn to the six-string, he found an early spark in the electrifying presence of Little Richard on television—an artist whose bold showmanship left a lasting impression. Today, Mitchhart has crafted his own signature style, captivating audiences with his dynamic performances time and again.
A lifelong bandleader, Mitchhart honed his sound and stage presence through four groups in Cincinnati, rising to the top of the city’s blues scene. His recording career took off with his 1993 debut album, Blues Transfusion, paving the way for more than a dozen albums, including 2009’s critically acclaimed Grown Ass Man and 2010’s Live From B.B. King’s. By the early ’90s, he had cemented himself as Cincinnati’s leading blues artist, but when he first played in Nashville 18 years ago, he knew he had found his true musical home.
Nearly two decades later, Mitchhart remains synonymous with the blues in one of the fastest-growing cities along the Cumberland River, performing 200 shows annually—all without ever leaving town.
