Elle Gyandoh is a Ghanaian-born, Philadelphia-based singer and songwriter celebrated for her rich, expressive vocals and genre-blending sound that fuses soul, jazz, blues, and pop. Drawing inspiration from legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, and Billie Holiday, as well as contemporary artists such as Alicia Keys, Lianne La Havas, and Adele, Elle creates music that resonates with emotional depth and lyrical sophistication.

Her debut album, Through the Looking Glass (2015), introduced audiences to her unique blend of blues and soul, featuring standout tracks like "Stolen," "Magic," and "Everything Burns." In 2023, she released the singles "The Right Time" and "Too Late," the latter being a soulful reinterpretation of Carole King's classic "It's Too Late."

Elle frequently performs across Pennsylvania and the Tri-State area with her ensemble, The John Doe Band, delivering captivating live shows that showcase both original compositions and beloved soul classics. Her performances have graced venues such as SOUTH Jazz Kitchen in Philadelphia and the Sellersville Theater.

Described by Town and Country Living magazine as possessing a "voice that hovers between the dramatic highs of Mariah Carey and the subtle shadings of Norah Jones," Elle's vocal prowess is both powerful and nuanced. Her music is available on major streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and Beatport.

What do Jimi Hendriix, Sam Cooke, Curtis Mayfield, Ben Harper and Steve Perry all have in common besides good music? Each of their names at one time or another have been used as a way of describing the talent of Melvin C Mcknight aka Blaqmel, a man as proficient a vocalist as he is a musician, with the ability to wow audiences whether accompanied by his full band or just himself in a chair with a mic and his acoustic guitar.
