Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. Hughes, a native of Cannock, England, absorbed all kinds of influences, including early British hard rock, the Beatles and, most importantly, American soul and R&B. The sleek Motown sound from Detroit and the gritty Stax/Volt sound from Memphis left their mark on him.
In 1973, Hughes joined Deep Purple after the departure of vocalist Ian Gillan and bass guitarist Roger Glover. The 1974 release of "Burn" rejuvenated the band and stands tall among Deep Purple classics. In the halcyon days, Deep Purple headlined at the famous California Jam in 1974 in front of quarter of a million people. They toured the world with their own plane. In 1976, Deep Purple split.
Glenn's first solo album "Play Me Out" was released in 1977. He joined former Pat Travers guitarist Pat Thrall to form Hughes/Thrall, which released an acclaimed self-titled album in 1982. Throughout the 80s and 90s, Hughes made countless guest appearances (both credited and un-credited) as a vocalist, bass guitarist or songwriter on other artists' albums. He currently fronts the supergroup Black Country Communion, and fronted California Breed from 2013 to 2015 and The Dead Daisies from 2019 to 2023. In 2016, Hughes was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Deep Purple.

While it's true that they were contemporaries of bands like Poison and Warrant, Enuff Z'Nuff's songcraft was heads and tails above any of their peers. Main songwriters singer Donnie Vie and bassist Chip Z'nuff work like a modern day Lennon-McCartney pairing. Throughout the years, the band has released a steady stream of music, each with a pinch of the Pop Metal sound that initially put them on the charts.

Bad Marriage is not just another band out of Boston. They come out swinging with a thunderous rock n roll swagger that would make the ‘Bad Boys of Boston’ smile. Indulging their mutual thirst for tone and overdriven guitars, Bad Marriage pays homage to the British
blues-hard rock of the past while etching their own signature style and sound.
