Into The Mystic - Philly's Tribute to the Music of Van Morrison

INTO THE MYSTIC celebrates the music of the iconic Northern Irish songwriter Van Morrison. With a sound informed by folk, blues, soul, and jazz, Van’s music can swing you into a “Wild Night” with its hard-hitting early R&B style, or wrap you up with the “Warm Love” of its acoustic bliss.

Presented by John Short, with a band of seasoned Philly players consisting of Raph Cutrufello (Hezekiah Jones), Chris Grunwald (Grizful Dead, Chris Grunwald & The Slow Response), drummer Jim Kittleman, bassist Lewin Barringer, and with horns and percussion to round out the ensemble, the group is poised to deliver the drama, power, and richness of the original recordings that are near and dear to so many.
