Since scoring worldwide success with her debut album and hits "Black Horse And A Cherry Tree" in 2004, KT Tunstall has remained at the forefront of UK singer songwriter talent, bringing home critical and fan awards. In 2019, KT headlined across the world with her all female band and supported Hall & Oates on their arena tour. She's been nominated for a Grammy, won a Mercury Prize, outsold every female artist in 2005, and was Music Week's 2016 Inspirational Artist Of The Year. Welcome back KT!
This show is welcomed by WXPN! Learn more about WXPN here.
Also performing tonight will be Haley Johnsen, a Portland, Oregon-born musician with a knack for genre-bending. Raised listening to powerhouse singers such as Brandi Carlile, Grace Potter, and Annie Lennox, her greatest inspirations are apparent in her soaring vocals, introspective lyricism, and cross-pollinated style of indie-pop, and bluesy folk rock music.
Opening the show is Dina Hall, a songwriter, singer, guitarist, percussionist, and recording artist from Bethlehem, PA. Whether solo or with a full band, her live performances are always dynamic, with powerful vocals and driving acoustic rhythm on each song.
