Joe Louis Walker, a Blues Hall of Fame inductee and six-time Blues Music Award winner, celebrates a career that exceeds a half a century. One of most celebrated and respected bluesmen working today, Joe Louis Walker is a true powerhouse guitar virtuoso, unique singer and prolific songwriter. He is a modern bluesman, at ease with mixing, matching and sometimes trampling as his heart dictates; attacking each song like the gospel vocalist he once was, while his guitar rips down the walls.
NPR described Walker as "a legendary boundary-pushing icon of modern blues." His 2015 release, Everyone Wants a Piece, was nominated for the Contemporary Blues Grammy. In addition, Walker dueted with B.B. King on his Grammy Award-winning Blues Summit album and played guitar on James Cotton's Grammy-winning album Deep in the Blues.
On February 17th, Forty Below Records will release Weight of the World, a compelling album that displays a master at the height of his game. They say Roots musicians age like fine wine, which certainly rings true with Walker. Walker’s new album is quite possibly the beginning of the greatest chapter of a storied career.

Music started early in Antar Goodwin's life. Born in Philadelphia, his parents planted the music seed early on. That seed has grown into a career that led to fascinating experiences. The most recent was a multi-year stint as the co-writer, musical director, and bassist for the Katie Henry Band. A life-threatening operation led him to re-assess his life. That inquiry led to him starting Antar Goodwin and The Faithful Sinners.
Deeply steeped in the blues and roots-based music, Antar got his start playing jazz, (Abbey Lincoln, Benny Golson), funk (Sharon Jones, BlaqMel), RnB/Hip Hop (Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean) and pop (Sting, Patty Smyth). All of those experiences led him back to the birthplace of them all, the blues. Antar has developed a style that is at once, a great compliment to the music as well as a sound all his own.
