Rhonda Vincent & The Rage

Rhonda Vincent is a firecracker of talent powering one of the hottest bands in any genre today. Raised in tiny Greentop, Missouri, she comes from five generations of musical heritage and launched her career in her family band, The Sally Mountain Show, appearing on TV, radio, and recordings by age five. She picked up mandolin at eight, fiddle at twelve, and learned early that every performance counts—after playing to what seemed like an empty, rain-soaked crowd at Silver Dollar City, the family got a call from Grand Ole Opry GM Hal Durham, who’d been listening around the corner and invited them to perform on the Opry.

Rhonda’s life of music evolved into a successful career in bluegrass music; after being discovered by Grand Ole Opry Star “Jim Ed Brown,” later spending what she calls her musical college years recording for Giant Records, and learning about the music business from Nashville’s best like James Stroud, Jack McFadden, and Stan Barnett. It was her pivotal bluegrass album Back Home Again that transformed Rhonda Vincent into the All American Bluegrass Girl, and she was crowned the New Queen of Bluegrass by The Wall Street Journal in 2000.

Her lifelong dream came true when she was invited to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry on February 28, 2020 and was officially inducted on February 6, 2021. Her powerful vocal style transcends the boundaries of bluegrass music, as evidenced in her collaboration with Dolly Parton on the Elton John / Bernie Taupin Tribute Project Restoration in 2018. Her new album, Destinations And Fun Places, is out and features guest appearances by Dolly Parton, Cody Johnson, Trisha Yearwood, Jeannie Seely and Sonya Isaacs.
