Sarah Ayers / Phil Pilorz Band

Come out and celebrate! There's a new album from Sarah Ayers and Phil Pilorz!

Sarah Ayers is a classically trained singer who has been a major force in the NE Pennsylvania rock and blues scene for over 20 years, winning over audiences with her powerful, expressive vocals. She formed the Sarah Ayers Band in 2002, releasing 2 critically acclaimed cds, and picking up numerous LVMA awards as a singer, writer, and bandleader. She has also performed with a wide variety of musicians, most recently a successful collaboration with harmonica ace James Supra.

Phil Pilorz is a LVMA award winning songwriter, guitarist, and singer who has performed and recorded solo and with bands, in a variety of genres and with a variety of artists. His songs have been featured in film, on his own cd's, on compilations and the radio.

Together they have just finished recording Apocalypse Road, a powerhouse mix of original rock and blues driven by Sarah's distinctive vocals and Phil's incisive guitar work. For this show they will be joined by a talented band of friends to celebrate the CD release, performing not only the songs from the album, but also selected cuts from their respective back catalogs. Fans of blues, rock, and just plain good times and great music will not want to miss this!
