Widely regarded as one of the foremost songwriters of her generation, Suzanne Vega emerged as a leading figure of the folk revival of the early 80s when, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, she sang what has been called contemporary folk or neo-folk songs of her own creation in Greenwich Village clubs. Since the release of her self-titled, critically acclaimed 1985 debut album, she has given sold-out concerts in many of the world’s best-known venues. Known for performances that convey deep emotion, Vega’s distinctive, “clear, unwavering voice” (Rolling Stone) has been described as “a cool, dry sandpaper-brushed near-whisper” by The Washington Post, with NPR Music noting that she “has been making vital, inventive music” throughout the course of her decades-long career.
Bearing the stamp of a masterful storyteller who “observes the world with a clinically poetic eye” (The New York Times), Vega’s songs tend to focus on city life, ordinary people and real-world subjects. Notably succinct and understated, her work is immediately recognizable - as utterly distinct and thoughtful as it was when her voice was first heard on the radio over 30 years ago.

If you are purchasing a Suzanne Vega VIP experience upgrade, you will be required to sign a waiver and release of liability. Package details subject to change without notice. All VIP packages are NON-TRANSFERABLE; NO NAME CHANGES will be permitted under any circumstances; NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES; all sales are final. You will receive an email from the theater box office 2-3 days prior to the event with check-in/pick up instructions. Exclusive VIP merch items will be distributed at the venue on day of show ONLY. You must proceed to the designated check-in at the scheduled time to receive your package merchandise. To redeem all elements of your order you must present your receipt and picture ID at the check-in location.
A processing fee of $7 per ticket will appear on your order at check out. This fee is waived when you purchase in person at our Box Office, click here for hours.
The cabaret and through row D are reserved for Theater Members until one month before the show. Theater members: select your tickets using the price code that matches your Membership level and enter your Member ID into the Membership box on the checkout page.
