The Lovin’ Spoonful were often referred to as the American Beatles. Formed in the Greenwich Village, New York City in the mid-1960s, the band challenged the British Invasion with an astonishing unrivaled string of hits. Their first 7 singles landed on Billboard’s Top 10 chart within 18 months! The band helped pioneer the musical genre of folk rock and by 1966, they were the third best-selling act in the US, behind the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The original lineup last performed in 1968, but reunited for a one-time performance in 2000 at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Today, founding member and bassist Steve Boone is keeping the band's legacy alive on tour with Jeff Alan Ross, Bill Cinque, Rob Bonfiglio and Mike Auturi.
Revisit the good time spirit of the 60s with the era’s premier hitmakers. Reminisce while listening to the hits: “Do You Believe In Magic?,” “Summer In The City,” “Daydream” and more.
