The Youngers are a Pennsylvania indie‑rock band rooted in classic American songwriting, blending harmony vocals, guitar‑driven arrangements, and modern alternative edge. Formed in 1999, they’ve spent 26 years building a loyal following through dynamic shows, acclaimed records, and a sound that bridges indie rock, heartland rock, AAA, and Americana.
Their fifth album, Dreaming (2026), recorded at Wilco’s Loft and produced by Grammy winner Tom Schick, expands their palette with cinematic textures, layered guitars, and emotional depth while staying true to their core songwriting. Early praise has been strong, with Indie Dock calling it “a genuinely significant record” and Illustrate Magazine praising its grown‑up, textured sound. The Alternate Root featured it multiple times, and it reached #8 on the Alt‑Country Specialty Chart.
Their 2022 album Nashville Again hit #2 on the Roots Rock Chart and spent four months on the Americana Chart, leading to a MerleFest 2023 appearance. The Youngers have played MerleFest, DelFest, Musikfest, and Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble, sharing stages with Marty Stuart, Lee Rocker, and The Boxmasters.
